Funeral service for Mary J. Brown, age 84, of Frederick, formerly of Tipton, Oklahoma, will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at the Burkhardt Chapel, Frederick Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Mike Suiter, pastor, Church of Christ, Tipton, Oklahoma, officiating.

Mrs. Brown died Sunday afternoon, March 7, 2010, at the Ayers Nursing Home, Snyder, Oklahoma.  Burial will be at the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home.

She was born on November 27, 1925 to Ira D. Robbins and Mag N. (Lee) Robbins, in Adel, Oklahoma.  She married Orvil Eugene (Gene) Brown in Hobart, Oklahoma.  He preceded her in death in 1983.  She was a cook and waitress for various restaurants.  She had lived in Healdton, Altus, Tipton and Frederick.  She attended the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and five brothers:  Theodore M. Robbins, Otis Robbins, Roy J. Robbins, Henry S. Robbins and Byron D. Robbins.

Local survivors are: one sister-in-law: Annie M. Robbins, of Frederick, Oklahoma and many nieces and nephews.
