The Frederick Bombers lost their fourth straight football game Friday night when they hosted the Hobart bearcats at Bomber Bowl. The Bombers were favored in this one but just couldn't come up with the big plays when they needed them. It was tied late in the game and looked like overtime was a possibility. It just wasn't to be, however, as the Bearcats scored to seal the 27-20 victory. Coach Farmer told me that the team played very hard and that he wasn't ashamed of them at all. The breaks just didn't fall our way. This loss should eliminate the Bombers from the playoff picture. The squad is young so the future looks bright in Frederick.

They should be much improved next season because the coaching staff know what they are doing and will prepare the team to succeed.

There is one more game to play next Friday night. The Bombers will travel to OKC and take on the Crooked Oak Ruf-Neks. Maybe we can close the season on a winning note. Good luck Bombers!
